Author Instructions

As an author of a lecture paper you are kindly asked to:

 

1.

Prepare a presentation summarizing the main achievements of your paper. A total of 20 minutes has been allocated for your presentation, out of which 3 minutes are for questions & answers. Please time your material for a 17 minutes talk.

 

2.

Deliver your talk at the scheduled session indicated in the program. In order to guarantee that the conference flows smoothly you are kindly requested to do the following:

 

 

1.

Go to room where your session will be held at least 20 minutes before the session starting time.

   

2.

Locate and contact your chairman and deliver a brief bio of yourself.

 

 

3.

Check that your presentation runs properly in the PC available at the conference room and copy and download it into that PC. You may also copy your presentation just after registering, at the computers available by the registration desk.

 

As an author of a poster paper you are kindly asked to:

 

1.

Prepare a brief presentation summarizing the main achievements of your paper. Please prepare a couple of slides highlighting your major results. You will be asked to present these results either on Monday after the afternoon coffee break (Poster Session 1) or on Tuesday after the afternoon coffee break (Poster Session). This brief presentation is intended to raise awareness of your poster results and hence to attract audience to your poster. You will have 2 minutes for your presentation.

 

2.

Prepare a poster in format A0. This poster will be displayed in the Poster Area on Tuesday 11th from 17:10 to 19:10. In order to guarantee that the conference flows smoothly you are kindly requested to do the following:

 

 

1.

Contact your session chairman 15 minutes before your poster briefing session starts to coordinate both the briefing session and the poster display.

   

2.

Attach your poster to the corresponding boards in the exhibition area on Tuesday so that they are ready before the poster exhibition starts.

 

 

3.

Send your 2minutes power-point presentation prior to the conference to the following email address: [email protected]
